A knowledge exchange object is an object that lets people learn from each other. What they learn is not important. That they are learning is essential.
The knowledge exchange object is a wall. A wall will be made through a city, using the materials that are there or are given. The wall be made by those who want it. If nobody wants a wall, there will be no wall. If one person wants a wall, no matter the size, it will be given form. somebody will see this wall, and ask why. Why are you building a wall?
This is a project that is not community art. It is not land art or urban art. It can be a anthropological survey, with a product. It does not want to change society, impose foreign standard or vision. It simply wants to give a city a chance to see what it is capable of. To show to it's self what it is full of. What people, what material, what place.
The goal of this project is to give an urban society a moment to look at itsself. In a productive way.
